The man seeing that he is having a wet dream so he wakes up and does not see wetness

976- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَرَى أَنَّهُ احْتَلَمَ وَلَمْ يَجِدْ بَلَلاً قَالَ‏:‏ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ غُسْلٌ‏.‏


976 – Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī regarding the man regarding that he had a wet dream but he did not find wetness.

He said: There is no ghusl upon him.


977- عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ‏:‏ الرَّجُلُ يَحْتَلِمُ فَيُدْرِكُ ذَكَرَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ النُّطَفَةُ فَيَقْبِضُ عَلَيْهِ، فَيَرْجِعُ هَلْ عَلَيْهِ غُسْلٌ‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنْ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ فَلاَ غُسْلَ عَلَيْهِ‏.‏


977 – Ibn Jurayj said: I said to ʿAṭā: The man having a wet dream and he reaches his penis prior to the sperm exiting and he grasps it and it returns.  Is there a ghusl upon him?

He said: If nothing came out from him then there is no ghusl upon him.
