The man washing his head while he is junub then leaving it until it dries then washing afterwards

1010- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ أَحَدُهُمْ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ بِالسِّدْرِ، ثُمَّ يَمْكُثُ سَاعَةً، ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ‏.‏


1010 – al-Thawrī from Mughīra from Ibrāhīm.  He said: One of them would wash his head from janāba with sidr, then remain for an hour, then wash the rest of his body.


1011- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ‏:‏ قَدْ أُثْبِتَ لَنَا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إِذَا غَسَلْتَ رَأْسَكَ وَأَنْتَ جُنُبٌ، ثُمَّ غَسَلْتَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِكَ بَعْدُ فَقَدْ أَجْزَأَ عَنْكَ‏.‏


1011 – Maʿmar from Zayd b. Aslam.  He said: It is has been established for us from Abū Hurayra (that) he said: When you have washed your head while you are junub, then you washed your body afterwards, it has sufficed for you.


1014- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ، ثُمَّ يَتْرُكُهُ حَتَّى يَجِفَّ، قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَقُولُ‏:‏ مَا مَسَّ الْمَاءُ مِنْكَ، وَأَنْتَ جُنُبٌ فَقَدْ طَهُرَ ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانُ‏.‏


1014 – Maʿmar from Zayd b. Aslam regarding the man washing his head with hollyhock while he is junub, then leaving it until it dries.  He said: I heard ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn saying: Whatever the water has touched from you while you are junub, so that place has become pure.
