Touching the posterior

446 – Ibn Jurayj said: I said to ʿAṭā: The man touched his posterior, the pathway of excretion, but he did not put his hand there.  Does he do wuḍū?

He said: Yes, when you have wuḍū from touching the penis you do wuḍū from it.

He said: I said: How do you regard if he touched what is around the pathway of excretion and he did not make his hand go deeply there?

447 – Maʿmar said: I heard a man saying to Qatāda: A man who is constipated, so his posterior exits from the intensity of the gripping pain in the stomach, so he inserts it with his hand, is there a wuḍū upon him?

He said: No, however he washes his hand.
