Sleeping in the prayer and when the insane person comes to his senses

492 – Ibn Jurayj said: I said to ʿAṭā: I fell a little asleep in the mandated (prayer), then I was alarmed and I did not know whether I spoke something.  Do I repeat or is there anything upon me?

He said: No.

493 – Maʿmar from Ḥammād.  He said: When the insane person awakens (i.e. from his insanity) he does wuḍū with a wuḍū for the prayer.

494 – Hishām from al-Ḥasan.  He said: When the insane person awakens (i.e. from his insanity), he does ghusl.
