Someone who doubts regarding his limbs

542- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ، شَكَى إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ، أَمْ شَكَّ فِي الْوُضُوءِ يَقُولُ‏:‏ وَسْوَسَةً لَمْ تَمْسَحْ بِرَأْسِكَ، لَمْ تَغْسِلْ كَذَا قَالَ‏:‏ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ يَمْضِي، وَقَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ‏:‏ وَكَانَ يُقَالُ‏:‏ إِذَا ابْتَدَأَ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ فَإِذَا جَعَلَهُ يَكْثُرُ عَلَيْهِ فَلاَ يُعِيدُ الْوُضُوءَ وَالصَّلاَةَ‏.‏


542 – al-Thawrī from Mughīra b. Khaythama, he complained to Ibrāhīm al-Nakhʿī, or he doubted regarded the wuḍū, saying: A waswasa that you did not wipe your head, that you did not wash thus.  

He said: That is from Shayṭān, it passes.  

And al-Thawrī said: And it would be said: When that commences (to make him think?) he (should) repeat (the wuḍū), so when he puts it become much upon him (trans. unclear), then he does not repeat the wuḍū and the prayer.


543- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ‏:‏ وَالْقَيْحُ وَالدَّمُ سَوَاءٌ‏.‏


543 – Maʿmar from Qatāda.  He said: Pus and blood are equal.


544- عَنِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ تَوَضَّأْ مِنَ الْقَيْحِ، وَالدَّكَرِ وَالدَّمِ‏.‏ وَذَكَرَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ لَمْ أَذْكُرْهُمَا‏.‏


544 – Ibn Mujāhid from his father.  He said: Do wuḍū from pus, al-dakar (?), and blood.  And he mentioned two characteristics which I did not remember.
