721- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ: كَانَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ، مِنْ فَضْلِ سِوَاكِهِ. 721 – al-Thawrī from Ismāʿīl b. Abī Khālid from Qays b. Abī Ḥāzim. He said: Jarīr b. ʿAbdullāh used to command his family to do wuḍū from the leftover of his siwāk. 722- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُوسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، إِذَا حَكَكْتَ شَيْئًا مِنْ جَسَدِكَ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ فَمَسَحْتَهُ بِالْبُصَاقِ، فَاغْسِلْ ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانَ بِالْمَاءِ. قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَسَمِعْتُ حَمَّادًا، يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا مَعْمَرٍ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ. 722 – Maʿmar from Ibn Ṭāwūs from his father: When you have scraped something from your body while you are upon wuḍū, then wipe it with saliva, and wash that place with water. Maʿmar said: And I heard Ḥammād saying the like of that. Abū Bakr said: And I saw Abū Maʿmar doing that. 723- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْخَيَّاطَ أَنْ يَبُلَّ الْخُيُوطَ بِالْمَاءِ، وَلاَ يَبُلُّهَا بِرِيقِهِ. 723 – Maʿmar from Ayyūb from Ibn Sīrīn. He said: He used to command the tailor to wet the threads with water, and not wet them with his spit. 724- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَدْ قِيلَ فِي الْبُصَاقِ فَخُذْ فِيهِ بِأَيْسَرِ الأَمْرِ. 724 – al-Thawrī, he said: It has been said regarding saliva to take regarding it by the easiest of commands. 725- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ قَالَ: أُدْخِلُ إِصْبَعِي فِي فَمِي وَأُمِرُّهَا عَلَى أَسْنَانِي كَهَيْئَةِ السِّوَاكِ، ثُمَّ أُدْخِلُهَا فِي وَضُوئِي؟ قَالَ: لاَ بَأْسَ. 725 – Maʿmar, he said: I heard Qatāda, and man asked him. He said: I insert my finger in my mouth and pass it upon my teeth like the form of the siwāk, then I insert it in my wuḍū water. He said: There is no harm. |
