Taking off the khuffs after wiping

809- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ‏:‏ كُنَّا نَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ نَقُومُ فَنُصَلِّي قَالَ‏:‏ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هِشَامٍ‏.‏


809 – al-Thawrī from Hishām b. Ḥassān from al-Ḥasan.  He said: We would wipe upon them then rise and pray.  He said: I heard it myself from Hishām.


810- عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى جُرْمُوقَيْنِ لَهُ مِنْ لُبُودٍ يَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا، ثُمَّ يَنْزِعُهُمَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ لَبِسَهُمَا وَيُصَلِّي‏.‏


810 – al-Thawrī from al-Aʿmash from Fuḍayl b. ʿAmr from Ibrāhīm that he would have a ḥadath, then he would wipe upon two galoshes (jurmūqayn) of his (made) from felts, wiping upon them.  Then he would take them off and when he rose to pray he would wear then and pray.


811- عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إِذَا نَزَعَهُمَا أَعَادَ الْوُضُوءَ قَدِ انْتَقَضَ وُضُوؤُهُ‏.‏


811 – Maʿmar from Manṣūr from Ibrāhīm.  He said: When one has taken them off he repeats the wuḍū.  His wuḍū has been broken.


812- عَنْ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إِذَا نَزَعَهُمَا أَعَادَ الْوُضُوءَ قَدِ انْتَقَضَ وُضُوؤُهُ، إِذَا مَسَحَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ، ثُمَّ خَلَعَهُمَا فَلْيَغْسِلْ قَدَمَيْهِ‏.‏


812 – Abu Ḥanīfa from Ḥammād from Ibrāhīm.  He said: When one has taken them off he repeats the wuḍū.  His wuḍū has been broken.  When the man has wiped upon his khuffs, then taken them off, he is to wash his feet.


813- أَخْبَرَنِي الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إِذَا نَزَعْتَهُمَا فَاغْسِلْ قَدَمَيْكَ‏.‏ وَبِهِ يَأْخُذُ الثَّوْرِيُّ‏.‏


813 – al-Thawrī reported to me from one of his companions from Ibrāhīm.  He said: When one has taken them off he washes his feet.  And al-Thawrī goes by it.
