When one has forgotten to wipe his head and he finds wetness in his beard

215 – Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh narrated to us from Mughīra from Ibrāhīm.  He said: When one has forgotten to wipe his head and there is wetness in his beard, and he remembers while he is in prayer, then if there is wetness in his beard he is to wipe his head.

216 – Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth narrated to us from ʿAbd al-Malik from ʿAṭā.  He said: When one has forgotten to wipe his head, and he has found wetness in his beard, it suffices him to wipe his head with it.

217 – Ḥafṣ narrated to us from Hishām from al-Ḥasan and from al-Aʿmash from Ibrāhīm likewise.

218 – Ibn ʿUlayya from Yūnus from al-Ḥasan regarding his saying regarding the man remembering in the prayer that he had not wiped his head, while there is wetness in his beard.  He said: He wipes his head form the wetness of his beard.

219 – Yazīd b. Hārūn from Ḥammād b. Salama from Qatāda from Khilās – in what Ḥammād knows – from ʿAlī.  He said: When the man has done wuḍū and he forgot to wipe his head, and he finds wetness in his beard, he takes from his beard and wipes his head.
