Regarding the woman wiping upon her headdress

250- حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ؛ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخِمَارِ‏.‏


250 – Ibn Numayr narrated to us from Sufyān from Simāk from al-Ḥasan from his mother from Umm Salama, that they would wipe upon the headdress.


251- حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَمْسَحُ عَلَى خِمَارَهَا‏؟‏ فَقَالَ‏:‏ لاَ، وَلَكِنْ تَمْسَحُ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا‏.‏


251 – Ibn ʿUlayya narrated to us from Ayyūb from Nāfiʿ.  He said: He was asked about the woman wiping upon her headdress.  

So he said: No, rather she wipes upon her head.


252- حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إذَا تَوَضَّأَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَلْتَنْزِعْ خِمَارَهَا وَلْتَمْسَحْ بِرَأْسِهَا‏.‏


252 – Wakīʿ narrated to us from Shuʿba from Ḥammād from Ibrāhīm.  He said: When the woman does wuḍū she is to take off her headdress and to wipe her head. 


253- حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ‏:‏ الْمَرْأَةُ تَمْسَحُ عَلَى نَاصِيَتِهَا وَعَلَى خِمَارِهَا‏.‏


253 – Ḥātim b. Wardān narrated to us from Yūnus from al-Ḥasan.  He said: The woman wipes upon her forelock and upon her headdress.


254- حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ‏:‏ تَنْزِعُ الْمَرْأَةُ خِمَارَهَا عِنْدَ كُلِّ وُضُوءٍ‏.‏


254 – ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated to us from Jarīr b. Ḥāzim.  He said: Ḥammād said: The woman takes off her headdress at every wuḍū.
