Regarding reflux in the wuḍū

435- حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ وَالْحَكَمِ قَالاَ‏:‏ فِي الْقَلْسِ وُضُوءٌ‏.‏


435 – Wakīʿ narrated to us from Ibn Abī Laylā from al-Shaʿbī and al-Ḥakam.  They said: In reflux (al-qals) there is a wuḍū (i.e. reflux breaks the wuḍū requiring a new one).


437- حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَمَّادٍ قَالاَ‏:‏ فِي الْقَلْسِ وُضُوءٌ‏.‏


437 – Ghundar narrated to us from Shuʿba from al-Ḥakam and Ḥammād.  They said: There is a wuḍū in reflux.


438- حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ إذَا وَجَدْتَ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ عَلَى لِسَانِكَ فَأَعِدَ الْوُضُوءَ‏.‏


438 – Ibn Numayr narrated to us from ʿAbd al-Malik from ʿAṭā.  He said: When you have found (something) of food upon your tongue repeat the wuḍū.


439- حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ هُوَ حَدَثٌ‏.‏


439 – Muʿtamir narrated to us from Layth from ʿAṭā.  He said: It is a ḥadath (something that break the wuḍū).


440- حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ فِي الْقَلْسِ وُضُوءٌ‏.‏


440 – Ḥafṣ narrated to us from Layth from ʿAṭā.  He said: There is a wuḍū in reflux.


441- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، وَلَيْسَ بِالأَحْمَرِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ وَسَالِمٍ قَالاَ‏:‏ فِي الْقَلْسِ وُضُوءٌ‏.‏


441 – Abū Khālid narrated to us – and he is not al-Aḥmar – from Sufyān from Jābir from al-Qāsim and Sālim.  They said: There is a wuḍu in reflux.
