Hadith‎ > ‎Āmālī Aḥmad b. ʿĪsā‎ > ‎Prayer‎ > ‎

Who disliked raising the hands after the first takbīr

Muḥammad said: I heard Qāsim b. Ibrāhīm disliking raising his hands in a lowering or a raising after the first takbīr.  And he said: It is an act (ʿamal).  And he mentioned from the Prophet الله عليه وآله وسلم that he prohibited that.

Muḥammad said: I saw Aḥmad b. ʿĪsā praying and he did not raise his hands after the first takbīr in a lowering or a raising until he departed (i.e. finished his prayer).  And I checked that from him in the obligatory prayer and in other than it.
