Preliminaries of the acts of worship


Chapter 1 - The obligation of the five acts of worship: the prayer, the zakāt, the fast, the ḥajj, and jihād
Chapter 2 - The establishment of kufr and apostasy by the rejection of some of the essential obligations and other than them from that for which its proof is based upon the transmission of the reliable narrators
Chapter 3 - The stipulation of the intellect in the attachment of responsibility
Chapter 4 - The stipulation of obligation and forbiddance to responsibility by the nocturnal emission or growth (of pubic hair) absolutely, or by the male reaching fifteen years of age and the female nine years, and the desirability of having children practice the acts of worship prior to that

Chapter 15 - The absence of dislike of the person being gladdened by by the notifying of someone else of his deed without it being his intent
Chapter 16 - The permissibility of bettering worship so that the doer be imitated and for encouragement in the madhhab
Chapter 17 - The desirability of worship in secret and choosing it over worship in public save for in the obligations

The desirability of performing every legislated act from them عليهم السلام that has been narrated to have a reward
Chapter 19 - The emphasis of the desirability of the love of worship and dedication to it
Chapter 20 - The emphasis of the desirability of effort and exertion in worship
Chapter 21 - The desirability of becoming steady with the act, and persistence upon it, and the least of it being a year

Chapter 23 - The forbiddance of pride in oneself and in the act and being conceited by it
Chapter 24 - The permissibility of happiness with worship without pride, and the ruling of the renewal of pride during prayer
Chapter 25 - The permissibility of taqiyya in the acts of worship, and its obligation with fear of harm
Chapter 26 - The desirability of moderation in worship with fear of fatigue
Chapter 27 - The desirability of hastening the doing of good and the dislike of its delay
Chapter 28 - The impermissibility of belittling something of the act of worship and the deed with a belittlement that brings one to abandonment
Chapter 29 - The nullification of worship without the walaya of the Imams عليهم السلام and the belief in their Imamate
Chapter 30 - Someone who was a believer, then became an unbeliever, then believed, his act in his preceding faith is not nullified
Chapter 31 - 
The non-obligation of the opponent doing qaḍā of his worship when he has become endowed with knowledge other than zakāt if he has given it to other than the one deserving, and the ḥajj if he has left off a pillar from it
