Insertion of a medicine does not break the wudu 1- روى الكليني عن محمد بن يحيى، عن العمركي، عن علي بن جعفر، عن أخيه موسى (عليه السلام) قال: سألته عن الرّجل هل يصلح له أن يستدخل الدواء ثمّ يصلي و هو معه أ ينقض الوضوء؟ قال: لا ينقض الوضوء و لا يصلّي حتّى يطرحه 1 – al-Kulayni narrated from Muhammad b. Yahya from al-`Amarki from `Ali b. Ja`far from his brother Musa عليه السلام. He said: I asked him about whether it is appropriate for the man to insert the medicine, then pray while it is with him. Does it break the wudu? He said: It does not break the wudu, but he does not pray until he discards it. Translator’s note: It would appear that the insertion of the medicine here is referring to inserting it into the anus, hence the question with regards to the status of the wudu. |
