111- حدثني محمد بن قولويه و الحسين بن الحسن بن بندار القميان، قالا حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله بن أبي خلف القمي، قال حدثني الحسن بن موسى الخشاب و محمد بن عيسى بن عبيد، عن علي بن أسباط، عن عبد الله بن سنان، قال : سمعت أبا عبد الله (عليه السلاميقول كان مع أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلاممن قريش خمسة نفر و كانت ثلاثة عشر قبيلة مع معاوية فأما الخمسة محمد بن أبي بكر رحمة الله عليه أتته النجابة من قبل أمه أسماء بنت عميس، و كان معه هاشم بن عتبة بن أبي وقاص المرقال، و كان معه جعدة بن هبيرة المخزومي، و كان أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلامخاله و هو الذي قال له عتبة بن أبي سفيان إنما لك هذه الشدة في الحرب من قبل خالك فقال له جعدة لو كان خالك مثل خالي لنسيت أباك، و محمد بن أبي حذيفة بن عتبة بن ربيعة، و الخامس سلف أمير المؤمنين ابن أبي العاص بن ربيعة و هو صهر النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلمأبو الربيع


111 – Muhammad b. Qulawayh and al-Husayn b. al-Hasan b. Bandar the two Qummis said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah b. Abi Khalf al-Qummi narrated to us.  He said: al-Hasan b. Musa the wood merchant and Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd narrated to me from `Ali b. Asbat from `Abdullah b. Sinan.  He said: I heard Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام saying: There were five people from the Quraysh with Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام, and there were thirteen tribes with Mu`awiya.  As to the five: Muhammad b. Abi Bakr, the mercy of Allah be upon him, his noble begetting came from his mother Asma daughter of `Umays.  And Hashim b. `Utba b. Abi Waqas al-Mirqal (the swift she-camel) was with him.  And Ja`da b. Hubayra al-Makhzumi was with him, and Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام was his maternal uncle.  And he was the one to whom `Utba b. Abi Sufyan said “You only have this rigor in war from your uncle.”  So Ju`da said to him “Were your uncle like my uncle, you would have forgotten your father.”  And Muhammad b. Abi Hudhayfa b. `Utba b. Rabi`.  And the fifth was the silf (husband of the sister of his wife) of Amir al-Mu’mineen Ibn Abi ‘l-`Aas b. Rabi`a, and he was the sihr (kinsman of the wife?) of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم, Abu ‘r-Rabi`.


112- حمدويه و إبراهيم ابنا نصير، قالا حدثنا أيوب، عن صفوان، عن معاوية بن عمار و غير واحد، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلامقال : كان عمار بن ياسر و محمد بن أبي بكر لا يرضيان أن يعصي الله عز و جل


112 – Hamdawayh and Ibrahim the two sons of Nusayr said: Ayyub narrated to us from Safwan from Mu`awiya b. `Ammar and more than one (person) from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.  He said: `Ammar b. Yasir and Muhammad b. Abi Bakr were not pleased that Allah عز و جل be disobeyed. 


113- محمد بن مسعود، قال حدثني علي بن محمد القمي، قال حدثني أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن زحل عمر بن عبد العزيز، عن جميل بن دراج، عن حمزة بن محمد الطيار، قال : ذكرنا محمد بن أبي بكر عند أبي عبد الله (عليه السلامفقال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلامرحمه الله و صلى عليه، قال لأمير المؤمنين (عليه السلاميوما من الأيام أبسط يدك أبايعك فقال أ و ما فعلت قال بلى، فبسط يده، فقال أشهد أنك إمام مفترض طاعتك و أن أبي في النار

فقال أبو عبد الله (عليه السلامكان إنجابه من قبل أمه أسماء بنت عميس رحمة الله عليها لا من قبل أبيه.


113 - Muhammad b. Mas`ud said: Ali b. Muhammad the Qummi narrated to me. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa narrated to me from Zuhal `Umar b. `Abd al-`Aziz from Jamil b. Darraj from Hamza b. Muhammad at-Tayyar.  He said: We mentioned Muhammad b. Abi Bakr to Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.  So Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام said: May Allah have mercy on him and bless him.  He said to Amir al-Mu’mineen عليه السلام one day from the days: Extend your hand that I might give bay`at to you.  So he said: Have you not done so?  He said: Yea.  So he extended his hand.  So he said: I testify that you are the Imam whose obedience is obligatory, and that my father is in the Fire.

So Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام said: His (noble) begetting was from his mother, Asma daughter of `Umays, the mercy of Allah be upon her, not from his father.



114- حمدويه بن نصير، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن عمر بن أذينة، عن زرارة بن أعين، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام) : أن محمد بن أبي بكر بايع عليا (عليه السلامعلى البراءة من أبيه


114 – Hamdawayh b. Nusayr from Muhammad b. `Isa from Muhammad b. Abi `Umayr from `Umar b. Udhayna from Zurara b. A`yan from Abu Ja`far عليه السلام that Muhammad b. Abi Bakr gave bay`at to `Ali عليه السلام upon bara’at from his father.


115- حمدويه و إبراهيم، قالا حدثنا محمد بن عبد الحميد، قال حدثني أبو جميلة، عن ميسر بن عبد العزيز، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلامقال : بايع محمد بن أبي بكر على البراءة من الثاني


115 – Hamdawayh and Ibrahim said: Muhammad b. `Abd al-Hamid narrated to us.  He said: Abu Jamila narrated to me from Muyassir b. `Abd al-`Aziz from Abu Ja`far عليه السلام.  He said: Muhammad b. Abi Bakr gave bay`at upon bara’at from the second one.


116- حمدويه، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن يونس بن عبد الرحمن، عن موسى بن مصعب، عن شعيب، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلامقال : سمعته يقول ما من أهل بيت إلا و منهم نجيب من أنفسهم، و أنجب النجباء من أهل بيت سوء منهم محمد بن أبي بكر


116 – Hamdawayh from Muhammad b. `Isa from Yunus b. `Abd ar-Rahman from Musa b. Mas`ab from Shu`ayb from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.  He said: I heard him saying: There is not a people of a house but that from them there be a noble one from themselves.  And the noblest of the noble ones are (those) from the people of an evil house.  From them is Muhammad b. Abi Bakr.
