Chapter 10

`Idda of a woman pregnant with twins

1 – Muhammad b. Ya`qub from Humayd b. Ziyad from al-Hasan b. Sama`a from Ja`far b. Sama`a from `Ali b. `Imran ash-Shafa from Rib`i b. `Abdullah from `Abd ar-Rahman al-Basri – meaning Abu `Abdillah – from Abu `Abdillah عليه السلام.  He said: I asked him about a man who divorced his wife while she was pregnant, and there were two (i.e. twins) in her belly.  So she delivered one, and one remained?  He said: She is separated by the first, but she is not allowed for the husbands (i.e. not allowed to remarry) until she delivers what is in her stomach.

And the Shaykh narrated it by his isnad from Muhammad b. Ya`qub likewise.
