From Sura an-Nisa

{ يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيراً وَنِسَآءً وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي تَسَآءَلُونَ بِهِ وَٱلأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيباً }

O people, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul, and created therefrom its mate, and diffused from them twain many men and women. And fear Allah, by whom you demand of one another, and the wombs; verily, Allah over you doth watch. (4:1)

`Ali b. Muhammad narrated to us. He said: al-Husayn b. al-Hakam al-Hibari narrated to me.  He said: Hasan b. Husayn narrated to us.  He said: Hibban narrated to us from al-Kalbi from Abu Salih from Ibn `Abbas regarding His saying “And fear Allah, by whom you demand of one another, and the wombs; verily, Allah over you doth watch.”  It was sent down regarding the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله and his Ahl al-Bayt and his womb relatives, and that is that every connection (sabab) and lineage (nasab) will be cut on the day of the resurrection except for what is from his sabab and his nasab.

“Verily, Allah over you doth watch” meaning: preserving (hafizh).

{ أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَآ آتَٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ فَقَدْ آتَيْنَآ آلَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مُّلْكاً عَظِيماً }

Do they envy man for what Allah has given of His bounty? We have given to Ibrahim's people the Book and wisdom, and We have given them a mighty kingdom. (4:54)

And His saying “Do they envy man for what Allah has given of His grace” to the end of the aya was revealed regarding the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله [and regarding `Ali عليه السلام] by what Allah gave him of bounty (al-fadl, can also be translated as virtue, superiority, grace).
